User Experience Designer | Sony Pictures Home Entertainment

  1. -Assist the Executive Director of User Experience with hands-on design and research projects at the Digital and

   Commercial Innovation group.
- Create intuitive user experiences focused on new entertainment delivery methods for consumers, such as UltraViolet.
- Design and execute UX testing sessions, watching real users interact with the digital storefront and apps to see how

   to improve their experiences.

Product Designer | DreamGear + i.Sound

-   Strategized, pitched, and designed new consumer electronics and accessories that anticipate and fulfill users' needs.

-   Identified market trends, compiled research, discovered overlooked opportunities, and harnessed this information to

     elevate the user experience.

-   Created 3D models and construction documents to communicate with project managers, engineers, and factories

     internationally in order to obtain fully functional samples that result in precisely tooled and elegantly executed products.


Freelance 3D Production Designer | Omelet                           

-   Modeled and Rendered 3D web assets for Zhu Zhu Pets.

-   Translated files from the manufacturers in China into Rhino 3D Models that I rendered out for the programmers.

-   Created user-manipulatable 3D environments that work as interactive puzzle pieces.


Industrial Designer | Project H                                                                 

-   Collaborated with a multidisciplinary group of designers, strategists, and engineers.

-   Worked on project Sprout, encouraging youth to eat healthier and garden.

-   Partnered with Woolly Pocket, with the goal of distributing the final strategies to schools across the nation.


Junior Industrial Designer                                                                                

-   Produced new lines from product conception to corporate presentation and completion.

-   With the use of Photoshop and Illustrator, created print and web materials which were distributed to magazines,

     manufacturers, and customers.

Industrial Design Intern                                                                               
-   Cleaned up 3D models in Rhino; created Illustrator line work for the product designs.


User Experience Intern | PLASIS DESIGN

-   Led a group of design interns to develop a research proposal, cohesive user vision, and integrated interface.

-   Worked closely with Google’s Image Recognition Engineer Hartmut Neven to revise and integrate Google’s many

     features.


CAD/CNC Intern | DIG-IT Furniture                                           

-   Collaborated with Lead Designer to develop drawings, clean drafts, CAD renderings, and CNC-milled models.

-   Spearheaded the use of a new environmentally friendly material, plyboo (plywood made from bamboo).


Lead Designer | Otis’s Integrated Learning Department            

-   Facilitated a multidisciplinary team of product designers, architects, and end users (elementary school students).

-   Initiated the project from concept to proposal, through manufacturing and installation.

-   Commissioned by Otis and Boeing to design and build a storage/seating solution for ACES Elementary School.


Apple Campus Representative | Volt Service Group

-   Held events and workshops educating faculty, staff, and students about Apple products and services.

-   Received training in Cupertino, CA, including a presentation by Apple’s packaging designers.
